🌿 BMWQG 31-Day Challenge — Day 1
Bone Marrow Washing Qigong (洗髓功)
Welcome to Day 1 of the BMWQG 31-Day Challenge, a progressive daily Qigong practice designed to rejuvenate the adrenals, restore Essence (Jing), and nourish the deepest levels of the body’s Qi.
The BMWQG is an ancient Classical Chinese Medicine internal cultivation practice that evolved from secretive monastic roots into modern therapeutic applications through masters like Ma Litang (1905–1989).
It is traditionally used to:
rebuild constitutional strength
calm and anchor the nervous system
restore Kidney–Adrenal energy
support longevity, clarity, and deep resilience
This challenge is taught gently and progressively, making it accessible while still honoring the depth of the practice.
🧭 STRUCTURE OF THE 31-DAY BMWQG CHALLENGE
Each week builds on the previous one, moving from preparation → strength → integration.
🔹 Week 1 — Preparation & Anti-Gravity
Releasing excess tension
Establishing vertical alignment
Light anti-gravity sensations
Preparing the spine, joints, and fascia
Includes foundational movements and select 12 Treasures Qigong to support relaxation and pain relief.
🔹 Week 2 — Parts 1–3: Grounding & Shen Returns
Anchoring Qi downward
Reconnecting mind and body
Settling the Shen (spirit)
Establishing internal stillness within movement
🔹 Week 3 — Parts 4–6: Strength Building
Gradual internal strength
Supporting bones, tendons, and marrow
Alternating relaxation and engagement
🔹 Week 4 — Parts 7–9: Rotation & Expansion
Spiraling and coiling movements
Opening the torso and joints
Expanding internal Qi flow
🔹 Week 5 — Parts 10–12: Quiet & Integration
Slowing down
Internal circulation
Integrating Qi into daily life
Quiet embodiment and completion
You may practice daily or at your own pace — consistency matters more than intensity.

whole-body, micro-movement principles
Yin–Yang balance through alternating softness and strength.
Over time, this practice supports rejuvenation from the inside out, not by forcing energy, but by allowing the body to rebuild itself naturally.
