We bought our eggs this way and turned them into fluffy homemade Omurice!
Japanese Omurice (Omelette Rice) is one of the most popular comfort foods in Japan — soft eggs wrapped around savory ketchup fried rice.
This video shows a unique part of Japanese food culture and how you can recreate this classic dish at home.
🥚 Ingredients
For Stir-Fried Rice
130–150g Cooked rice
60g Chicken thighs
20g Maitake mushrooms
1 Button mushroom
50g Onion
5g Butter
1/2 tsp Consomme bouillon
1 tbsp Sake
3–4 tbsp Ketchup
Salt and pepper
For Omelet
3 Eggs
1/2 tbsp Mayonnaise
2 tbsp Water
5g Butter
1 tsp Vegetable oil
Salt and pepper
Topping
Ketchup
