Описание: The Maharashtra Cabinet this week approved a series of major policy and infrastructure decisions across sectors. A comprehensive land acquisition policy was cleared for Third Mumbai, along with a ₹6,000 crore loan to accelerate land acquisition for the Purandar Airport and a revised ₹15,000 crore NABARD loan to complete pending irrigation projects. Land was allotted for an international cricket stadium in Kolhapur, industrial expansion in Indapur, and a coal-to-chemical project in Kalmeshwar, while 11 new additional district collector posts were sanctioned. High-performing gram panchayats will receive incentives of up to ₹5 crore under a statewide health initiative. A ₹75.13 crore multi-discipline sports complex was approved in Baramati, and development works worth ₹1,700 crore were reviewed for Thane, including metro and road projects. The state also launched its Quantum Technology Mission to boost research, training and jobs, while Mumbai unveiled India’s first melody road that plays “Jai Ho” at designated speeds.
