I wanted to do a little project on Keith Jarrett when I learned that he would never play piano again after his stroke. It saddens me a lot because like many pianists, he is one of my mentors!
It is with great humility that I present this work to you. I did my best to respect the original work. To do this I have tried to follow the advice of the master, given in the preface of the transcription: "I am recommending that every pianist who intends to play THE KOLN CONCERT use the recording as the final-word reference. Good Luck!" . So I worked with the official score, and I spent a lot of time correcting it by listening and re-listening to the Koln, until I could play at the same time as it.
I know Keith Jarrett's audience is very demanding, so I hope you like it.
