This KCRA-TV footage, filmed between March of 1973 and July of 1974 features actress/singer and (at the time) partner of Playboy Magazine creator Hugh Hefner, Barbi Benton. Entertainment reporter Harry Martin interviews Benton and visits the Playboy Mansion during it's heyday in the 1970's. The film also shows a press conference with Hefner, Benton, and Bunnies and a tour of the Playboy Mansion with its luxurious landscaping, exotic animals, and famous swimming pool.
Hugh Marston Hefner (1926 - 2017) was an American businessman, magazine publisher, and professional playboy. He was the founder of Playboy Magazine in 1953 and was the editor-in-chief up until his death.
Barbi Benton is an American model, actress and singer. She is known for appearing in Playboy magazine, as a four-season regular on the comedy series Hee-Haw, and for recording several modestly successful albums in the 1970's. Since the 1980's, she has been semi-retired from show business to raise her children.
