"Pearly Gates" is a gospel blues song composed by the late great Blind Willie McTell of Georgia, who had a very peculiar place in the blues music of America. He was quite the believer and his faith can be captured very well in his music giving you the perfect gospel blues sound!
While his version is rather timeless, yet majestic, we also took inspiration from Ben Dickey's version for the motion picture "Blaze" a film I strongly recommend watching for Blaze Foley lovers. Thanks again to Marta for the brilliant harmonies which really make our version.
