Ravana Falls
Ravana Falls is a popular sightseeing attraction in Sri Lanka. It currently ranks as one of the widest falls in the country.This waterfall measures approximately 25 m (82 ft) in height and cascades from an oval-shaped concave rock outcrop. During the local wet season, the waterfall turns into what is said to resemble an areca flower with withering petals. But this is not the case in the dry season, where the flow of water reduces dramatically. The falls form part of the Ravana Ella Wildlife Sanctuary, and are located 6 km (3.7 mi) away from the local railway station at Ella.

Legend
The falls have been named after the legendary king Ravana, who is connected to the famous Indian epic, the Ramayana. According to legend, it is said that Ravana (who was the king of Lanka at the time) had kidnapped princess Sita, and had hidden her in the caves behind this waterfall, now simply known as the Ravana Ella Cave. The reason for the kidnapping is said to be exact revenge for slicing off the nose of his sister by Rama (husband of Sita) and his brother Laxmana. At the time, the cave was surrounded by thick forests in the midst of the wilderness. It is also believed that Rama's queen bathed in a pool that accumulated the water falling from this waterfall. They believed that Ravana has played the Ravanahatha over here.

Pallewela Falls
Pallewela Falls is very nice and hidden waterfall located in karadagolla area on wellawaya road.. most of people don't know about this waterfall.. but its very nice and calm place hidden in jungle..sometimes villagers and nearby hotel guards don't allowed to access this waterfall to outside people'
If u wish to go there have to contact someone know about the path to waterfall and ask permission.

Visari Falls
The Visari Ella (Vishari Ella), also known as the Alikola Oya North falls lies hidden deep inside the mountains of Uva. The 20m-high Alikola Oya waterfalls are formed by the Punagala and Alikola Rivers, which both flow from the Maha Kande Mountain’s eastern slope. The falls flow into the Kirindi River.

The falls are situated in the Badulla District.To reach the falls, travel 20 kilometers from Kumbalwela Junction ( on Badulla – Bandarawela Road) on the Wellawaya – Kumbalwela Road (A23) or 13.5 kilometers from Wellawaya to reach the by road towards the Wiswari Ella. The new name board has been installed recently at this turn off.

Ellawala Falls
Ellawala Ella is a small but beautiful waterfall lying in the Monaragala District accessible from the Ella – Wellawaya Road. This waterfall lies hidden inside the jungle about 5 km from Wellawaya Town.

Coming from Wellawaya, travel 3 km on the Ella Road to reach the Rathmal Vehera Ancient Temple. Take the road oppersite to the temple which will lead to the waterfall. Last few kilo meters are said be rough and not suitable for a vehicle with low ground clearance. You may need a 4×4 will need to travel by a 3 wheeler. To reach the fall, you will need to walk few hundred meters in to the jungle.
Although this is popular bathing place with shallow water, there is a deep invisible cavity where water drops to pool. Therefore going underneath the waterfall is deadly.
