Pre-K and Kindergarten Apple Theme Activities for Fall

Описание: Introducing our little friends to apples is a great way to incorporate a variety of skills in the classroom. From math, literacy, science, dramatic play, handwriting, art and more, apples provide an encompassing curriculum for any classroom.

Today I am bringing you around my classroom to show you all of the ways you can incorporate apples into every subject you cover with your students.

Apple Math and Literacy Centers are loaded with fun, hands on apple themed activities to help your students build math and literacy concepts! Literacy skills covered are letter identification, beginning sounds, sight words, handwriting, syllables, building vocabulary words, and writing/journaling. Math skills cover are one to one correspondence, counting, number identification, graphing, patterns, and 2D shapes. Each activity has a page of teacher tips to help you create the activity easily and ensure it will go smoothly. You can use these centers as arrival/table time activities, center activities, small group instruction, and circle. These activities are designed for preschool, pre-k, or kindergarten.

Make apple science FUN and hands on in your classroom using science units made just for little learners! Use a small table or a small bookshelf to create an engaging science center full of hands on materials for students to explore and investigate using the included printables, vocabulary cards, book, anchor charts, and discovery pages (science journal pages)! Included is a read aloud book for circle time, anchor charts, and a suggested book list. There is even a half page note you can send home to families, so they can continue the learning at home and strengthen the home school connection.

Apple Orchard Dramatic Play is a fun theme you can do in your pretend or dramatic play center during a apple theme, fall theme, or farm theme. There are labels and real classroom photos showing how to set up your apple orchard in your dramatic play center. Just print the labels, signs, and make the props. This theme integrates social, math, language, literacy, math, and fine motor all into their play! This is a theme/unit designed for a preschool, pre-k, or kindergarten classroom.
