While technology was used in forensic mental health practice prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, technology has since become a critical aspect to the delivery of services to individuals in forensic settings. This lunch and learn will discuss the use of telepsychology, social media and other publicly available information, and other forms of technology in therapy and assessment in forensic settings. Ethical ways to integrate technology into forensic practice will also be highlighted.
Dr. Ana Belmonte is an Assistant Professor and the Department Chair of the Forensic Psychology Department at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Chicago Campus.
