City tour of the city of Hamburg, Germany. It is the second largest city in Germany and also the most important port city. Through the city runs the River Elbe that connects Hamburg with the North Sea. The city houses 1,904,444 inhabitants (December 31, 2020). Another 750,000 live in adjacent urban areas. Five million people live in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region on more than 26,000 km².
