The objective of this lecture is to discuss what patient reporting adds to pharmacovigilance and to learn best practices of patient reporting systems.
Florence van Hunsel is a pharmacist with a Master in epidemiology. She defended her PhD thesis ‘The contribution of direct patient reporting to pharmacovigilance’ at the University of Groningen in 2011. She works at the Netherlands Pharmacovigilance Centre (Lareb) since 2005.
