This is the second of these 56" wingspan old timer style powered gliders aquired as part of a job lot. It's in almost perfect condition and I've fitted it with a Axi 2208/24 brushless motor and super cheap XXD HW30A esc from Banggood with the brake enabled.
It's underpropped on an APCe 7x6 prop (it'll take a 9x6) but power is more than adequate for it's intended purpose. A 3s 800 mAh pack balanced it ok .
Winds were 5-10 mph and I was surprised at how well it sloped in such light winds. Not the most exciting of flights but still enjoyable as it needed a gentle approach to get the best out of the model in the conditions. No wild stick banging here!
