Burmese Buddhist Temple, Penang

Описание: Built in 1803, the temple is the only buddhist burmese temple in the state of Malaysia. The best time to come here is during Vesak Day where it comes alive for most devotees. There are monks living in this area during my visit. Opposite temple is the stunning Wat Chayamangkalaram which I'll be posting soon.

After the fort, walk through the central business district to explore more.    • Georgetown, Penang Heritage Buildings  

Can’t get enough of the town, don’t waste time! Head to the temples few kilometres away from the CBD.    • Burmese Buddhist Temple, Penang
