Today's episode is the first of a four-part series exploring the rolling terrain and winding paths that define the character of Mid-Missouri’s lesser-known highways. The series will cover parts of Boone, Howard, and Cooper counties.

In this episode, we begin on Highway B north of Columbia, then join Highways HH, Z, and OO - all in Boone County. While on HH, we pass through the Community of Murry. Later we traverse Hallsville, where we transition from Highway OO to Route 124.

We travel Route 124 until its southern junction with US Highway 63. In the next episode, we'll pick up where we left off at this junction and continue our explorations to the west.
