I have posted 2 Lame CDs and their 7", but recently I got to meet up with Alex, Lame's bass player, to reminisce about the local 90's scene and even better, borrow some of the super rare Clearwater/Dunedin gems (demo tapes) he held onto for the last 30 years. This Lame demo tape being one of them.
Lame was a local band for us Tampa Bay folks. They were active from about 1993/94 - 1998ish, and the band called their sound a "hearty blend of original riffs and dynamics, taking cues from bands like Operation Ivy, Red Hot Chili Peppers, fIREHOSE, Primus, and the Beatles to form an energetic, genre-defying style."
