VISITING THE WAKEFIELD MILL HOTEL & SPA // Things to do in Wakefield (Quebec)

Описание: This week, in an all new travel episode, I explore one of the most prestigious travel accommodations in the entire Outaouais region, that is the Moulin Wakefield Mill Hotel & Spa. Located in an old grain mill which dates back to the 1830', the Wakefield Mill is situated in one of best places to stay in the region. With the beautiful MacLaren Falls, in the heart of the Gatineau Park and the shoreline of the Gatineau River, the Wakefield Mill combines comfort and relaxation with an oasis for outdoor adventurers.

Not only will we explore the hotel, but we will also visit the surrounding Gatineau Park by checking out one of my favorite hiking trails to do in the park, that is the Trail 72 from the parking lot P17 which is located only 5 minutes away from the Mill. On this trail, you will get unbelievable views of lake Carman and of the Gatineau Park. With the Fall season, there is no better time to visit the park!

We also check out one of my favorite bakeries in the Outaoauis, that is the @Pipolinka Bakery after hiking the Wakefield trail just behind the Mill! After viewing one of the most incredible sunrises, a good breakfast is in order. We finish off our visit of Wakefield by paddle boarding on the Gatineau River.

All in all, what an incredible time I had at the Wakefield Mill, especially in the hot tub with a view of the waterfall! Can't wait to be back and to get a message at their amazing spa!

Cette semaine, dans un tout nouvel épisode de voyage, j'explore l'un des hébergements de voyage les plus prestigieux de toute la région de l'Outaouais, soit le Moulin Wakefield Mill Hotel & Spa. Situé dans un ancien moulin à grain datant des années 1830, le Moulin Wakefield est situé dans l'un des meilleurs endroits où séjourner dans la région. Avec les magnifiques chutes MacLaren, au cœur du Parc de la Gatineau et au bord de la rivière Gatineau, le Moulin Wakefield allie confort et détente à une oasis pour les aventuriers du plein air.

Non seulement nous explorerons l'hôtel, mais nous visiterons également le parc de la Gatineau environnant en parcourant l'un de mes sentiers de randonnée préférés à faire dans le parc, soit le sentier 72 du stationnement P17 qui est situé à seulement 5 minutes de le moulin. Sur ce sentier, vous aurez une vue imprenable sur le lac Carman et le Parc de la Gatineau. Avec la saison d'automne, il n'y a pas de meilleur moment pour visiter le parc!

Nous visitons également l'une de mes boulangeries préférées en Outaaouis, c'est-à-dire la boulangerie @Pipolinka après avoir parcouru le sentier Wakefield juste derrière le moulin! Après avoir vu l'un des levers de soleil les plus incroyables, un bon petit-déjeuner s'impose. Nous terminons notre visite de Wakefield en faisant du paddle sur la rivière Gatineau.

Dans l'ensemble, quel moment incroyable j'ai passé au Moulin Wakefield, surtout dans le bain à remous avec vue sur la cascade! J'ai hâte d'être de retour et de recevoir un message dans leur incroyable spa!
