Описание: The Gisele Pelicot story is a perfect example of patriarchal violence against women and children. And especially how women have been conditioned to excuse it, ignore it, deny it, and even gaslight and not believe their own children, even when there is evidence of their husbands abusing. This is how pickme mentality is so dangerous. Feminism is about challenging the systems and power structures and how this is all enabled. The violence of men especially in the home HAS to be addressed because these children go on to often become abusers or enablers themselves. the cycle of domestic violence and these dysfunctional family systems wont' end until we name it and deal with it. Caroline pelicot deserves justice and especially to be believed by her own mom. That might happen one day but for now we have to see gisele and caroline in ourselves.
