How to knit a headband/cable headband | TeoMakes

Описание: Hi everyone, with the weather getting a bit warmer here in London, I think a headband would be great to replace the hat :)
In this video tutorial I'm talking about a few things and show you different techniques like: provisional last on, cables, Kitchener stitch and basics knits and purls.

What we need:

Crochet hook

A row counter

Tapestry Needle

Scissors

Start with the provisional cast on, as shown in the video, then you work in stockinette stitch for about 6.5 inches, work the cable section, continue in stockinette until your headband fits your head. the last thing you need to do is the Kitchener stitch and you're done!

If you'd like to make it more simple, just cast on and cast off and stitch them together, it will leave a line on your headband, but thats fine, too.
