Here is part 2 of our 5-day trip in Zamboanguita, Philippines. Apo Island is 20-30 minute boat ride from Zamboanguita and is one of the world’s best known community-organized marine sanctuaries. The marine habitat surrounding the island is now protected by the National Integrated Protected Area Act (NIPA) and under the jurisdiction of the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB).
