CUSTOM LINE 106 : ON-BOARD DESIGN AND DÉCOR
The Custom Line 106’ has a length of 32.82 m (107.08 ft) and a beam of 7.30 m (11.23 ft). It is the second member of the new planing range by Francesco Paszkowski Design and it has been developed in partnership with the Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department and the Product Strategy Committee led by the engineer Piero Ferrari.
This new yacht has been designed to fully embrace the experience and the wonders of the sea. Travelling becomes art with the Custom Line 106’, which embodies the ideas of discovery, freedom, departure and beauty. The stylistic and decorative features ensure that the artistic journey continues inside. Thanks to a partnership with the Contini Art Gallery, the path through the interiors is imbued with the flair and creativity of works by the contemporary masters Mario Arlati, Fernando Botero, Enzo Fiore and Igor Mitoraj.
The profile is sleek and powerful: taut lines run from the stern to the forward area, generating a spectacular alternation of materials and colours in the light structural surfaces and dark tinted windows. As in a sculpture, the surfaces are interconnected and they create flowing volumes in all settings. Light makes the spaces seem bigger and enhances the joys of yachting.
The hull windows are broad and ample, while a sense of direct contact with the sea is offered by the full-length deck windows. The use of space and incredible volumes are two of the yacht’s major strengths. The style of the prototype Custom Line 106’ continues in the same vein as the brand’s new planing vessels: it explores greater formal balance and there are distinctive, strong colour contrasts in the furnishings and coverings. The result is a work of art on water, enriched with custom furnishings by Minotti and Royal Botania.
