2012 Nissan Altima Coupe subwoofer install while keeping the Bose factory system.
Tap into the factory Bose amp harness located in the trunk on the right side under the spare tire foam. Tap into the Violet wire from the top harness(Main Harness), that will give you constant power for the amp remote wire. Tap into the rear speaker in the rear deck with a RCA converter, then run the RCA wires from the converter to the amp.
I had to add a bass knob with a universal bass knob. With that you run the RCAs from the converter to the bass knob input then run an input from the bass knob to the input on the amp.
Hope this helps since i never could find a real video or forum post about installing this way.
