So one of my EU friends left me a +0 Excelion Shield so I refined it to +9 (at +6 a +12 MBS still beats it, for pretty much obvious reasons but the difference is really small -the +5% atk from the MBS makes it come slightly ahead-) the +10% HP is pretty nice on genetic and allows you to survive more comfortably. As long as you have insta cast (and you arent using acid bomb) a +6 Excelion shield is good enough
Messed the FAWs a couple times, the death to the Seyren at the end was pretty anticlimactic if you ask me but so is life.
I dont have an homunculus because Im a lazy person
