Wellington Invasion is the longest and baddest Drag Racing event in the whole New Zealand. Every year racers from all over the country gather at Meremere Dragway to challenge each other for the ultimate bragging rights!

NZ Doorslammers, here racing Round 1 of the all-new Summer Slammer Series
Top Alcohol Class, with the Segedin STA Parts Mustang Funny Car and the CSRPM Dragster
NITRO Funny Cars, including NitroHoon
The spirits were pretty high when one of the cars crashed into the wall at high speed, not to mention the many PBs and 5 second passes witnessed throughout the day.
