The Leyland National was a hugely popular bus, with over 7000 units sold - though Leyland hoped to sell more. This one uses a Volvo THD100 diesel engine, a straight-six lump with an unknown amount of power. I reckon 180bhp is likely.
This one is also a mobile cafe! It is also in perfect HubNut condition - beautifully dishevelled but working well.
Due to passing my test in 1995, I am able to drive a bus or coach on the road as long as it is over 30 years old, and has no more than eight passengers.
