নির্বাচনে ৭৭টি আসনে জয় পাওয়ায় সংসদের সংরক্ষিত নারী আসনের ১৩টিতে মনোনয়ন দিতে যাচ্ছে জামায়াত জোট। দলের সহকারী সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল হামিদুর রহমান আযাদ জানিয়েছেন, যোগ্যতার বিচারে শীর্ষ নেতার পরিবারের সদস্যরাও সংরক্ষিত আসনে এমপি হতে পারেন। তবে জামায়াতের নারী নেত্রীরা বলছেন, পরিবারতন্ত্র পরিবর্তে গ্রহণযোগ্যতার বিচারেই মনোনয়ন দেয়া হচ্ছে দলের সংরক্ষিত নারী আসনে।

After winning 77 seats in the election, the Jamaat-e-Islami alliance is going to nominate 13 of the reserved seats for women in parliament. The party's assistant secretary general Hamidur Rahman Azad said that family members of the top leader can also become MPs in the reserved seats based on their qualifications. However, Jamaat's female leaders say that nominations are being made for the party's reserved seats based on acceptability rather than family system.
