This is a short overview of a process improvement project I worked on within HR. In the current state, the arrears administrator had to manually calculate, format, and add multiple data points in excel to calculate to what extent and employee (returning from leave) owed to their benefits plans.
This project automated the process and substantially reduced the time to calculate and produce the results. Through this project, we saw a cycle time improvement of about 75%.
