Webinar “Women for the MAR: From Conservation to Entrepreneurship”, a space for dialogue and learning that highlights their leadership in the conservation and sustainable development of the Mesoamerican Reef (MAR).
In this session, women representatives from CEM, COBI, CECIMS, and Mujeres de Izabal will share how they are transforming their communities through conservation—demonstrating that sustainability can also be a pathway to entrepreneurship and economic autonomy—while overcoming gender barriers, driving local innovation, and strengthening collaboration networks for a more equitable and sustainable management of marine and coastal ecosystems.
