लोकसभा में स्पीकर को हटाने के लिए कांग्रेस और उसके साथी दल प्रस्ताव लेकर आए। कई लोगों के मन में प्रश्न था कि आख़िर यह प्रस्ताव आया क्यों? इसका रहस्योद्घाटन किया पूर्व क़ानून मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने। उन्होंने कहा कि एक व्यक्ति के अहंकार की तुष्टि के लिए आया है। स्पष्ट है कि उनका इशारा नेता प्रतिपक्ष राहुल गांधी की तरफ़ था । राहुल गांधी को नेता प्रतिपक्ष के अधिकार की चिंता है लेकिन जवाबदेही की नहीं । वे कभी नहीं सोचते कि क्या उनका आचरण उस पद के अनुरूप है जो उन्हें अपने वंश के कारण मिला है। राहुल गांधी का रोना खत्म ही हो रहा है कि उन्हें बोलने नहीं दिया जाता । दरअसल उनके कहने का मतलब वेल्डर चाहें और जिस विषय पर चाहें बोलने दिया जाय। सदन के नियम उनपर लागू न किए जाएँ। यदि ऐसा होगा तो फिर वे सदन नहीं चलने देंगे। यहीलकाम वे लगातार कर रहे हैं ।

If this happens then they will not allow the House to function. They are doing the same thing continuously.
