What if Batman entered the Marvel Universe and had to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Avengers against Kang the Conqueror? In this full-length, cinematic “What If” story, Bruce Wayne builds a Dimensional Bridge, gets pulled into Earth-616, and suddenly finds himself in the middle of a time-war that could erase both Gotham and New York from existence.
In this episode, Batman crashes into New York City, saves civilians in front of Spider-Man, and is forced into an uneasy alliance with Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Wong, Nick Fury, and Captain Marvel. Together they face Kang’s time-resetting robot army, underwater chronal relays, and the nightmare city of Chronopolis itself. Batman’s no-kill rule, his fear of becoming the very thing he fights, and Marvel’s brutal “save the many” logic collide in a massive ideological clash.
