PML-N’s Babar Nawaz Khan has won the NA-18 Haripur by-election with 163,996 votes as all 602 polling station results are in.
Shahernaz Omar Ayub, backed by PTI, came in second with 120,220 votes.
Nine candidates were in the race, including nominees from PML-N, PTI-backed independents and PPP.
The seat became vacant after Omar Ayub was disqualified in the May 9 riots case.
