It appears the next target of Nefarith and the Landbreakers is the Power Plateau, as an Aether Rift suddenly becomes active above it. The Blight the rift emits threatens to corrupt not only those on the Power Plateau, but all of Valley IV as it continues to spread. So it's up to the Endfielders to head up there and use Andre's TA-TA prototype to contain the Aether Rift, stop the Blight, and thwart Nefarith's nefarious ambitions. But we have not quick and easy way up to the plateau, so we have to escort the prototype machine the long way around, starting with the Originium Science Park. We need to take Tata (Chen's nickname for the prototype) to the Research Center there to have it inspected and repaired by the resident engineering expert, Yvonne. But the place is crawling with Landbreakers and... Blighted zombies!? This isn't going to be a simple walk in the park. And if we're able to rescue the survivors here, we can set up another outpost and build the infrastructure for the area.
