A pair of daredevils travelled 200 miles to explore an abandoned navy base flooded with security.

The urban explorers, known as Lost Adventures, crept around the eerie navy base where they found an empty olympic sized swimming pool and old bullet cases.

The Royal Navy base, located in Ipswich, Suffolk, has supposedly been abandoned for 45 years and was once home to an olympic sized pool used by military police.

One of the explorers, who only wants to be referred to as Ben, said the pair were "overloaded with anxiety" as security patrolled the area which is off bounds to the public.
