Hi All,
I raised these Orchard Swallowtail butterflies. I saw their mother butterfly lay some eggs on my lemon tree, which let me accurately document their age as they grew and know their species from the start. One was always bigger than the other, first to go into the cocoon and open as a butterfly. They were fed a variety of fresh leaves, mainly citrus but also australian native boronia - they weren't too keen on this.
