How do you protect yourself while out doing gig work? Have you considered what kind of proof you could provide for your own defense if you do NOT have access to the app? What if police are involved? It's worth your while to be able to provide your own video footage and photographs of what took place. What could someone say, or what could they do to make you look like the "bad person"?
I use a body cam for all drop offs. I also take pictures using the timestamp camera app. I also always use a dash cam that records inside and outside the car.
