here are some bonus mini explanations/notes? I guess?
I kinda like to think that the corrupt albedo thing with durin is triggered by hatred or some extreme negative emotion. He already felt betrayed after kaeya snipped off his hair, but seeing Klee crying in the crowd only pushed him over the edge. Once in that state, he can barely control himself, hence why he accidentally hurt people like Klee and Kaeya. After that brief moment of rage, albedo regains his consciousness. Durin’s control has left as his rage decreased a bit, but his form remains the same. Terrified of what he’s done, he flies away.
Despite believing albedo was a witch and losing an eye to his geo vision, kaeya still loves albedo and regrets betraying him.
I decided to make rosaria be the nun in this since it fit her role already as someone who’s associated with the favonius church. however, I changed her motivation from jealously to pure suspicion as she was suspicious of albedo during his quest.
I decided to add Klee in here just for some suffering :)
I hope y’all don’t mind that I changed up the ending part. For the most part, the rest of it follows through with the original Witch Hunt music video, but I wanted to change the end just to add on some angst, so hopefully it wasn’t a bad change :’D
Jean is still a knight of favonius. at the crowd scene, jean was meant to watch over klee so she wouldn’t watch her brother get burned at the stake. however, Klee escaped Jean’s sight to beg for them to stop hurting her brother. In addition, Jean disagreed with the idea of burning albedo, but since it was an order from kaeya after he was fooled, she couldn’t say no. all she could do was comfort klee.
an idea I had to make albedo’s haircut scene more tragic (depending on how you view it) is that his original hair was the same hairstyle he kept while traveling with his master. after it got chopped off, it’s like he lost a part of his master, who he views as family. idk :’D
also I uh realized too late that his vision got taken away, so imma assume that durin’s corruption gave him his geo abilities for a bit, idk bro
It’s possible that I have another idea for an animatic that follows this one, but that one would also be long, so I’m not sure if I’ll get around to it. If I do, it might not be as polished as this, but I’ll try to see what i can do if i get around to it.

o yea also I’m sorry about the inconsistent art style here. I got tired :’)
