In this video I really start getting into "restoring" this Tremec TKO. I must say that these transmissions are quite uncommon in the UK. I really never thought I'd come across one while I'm here. In its former life this early TKO had been faceplated, raced and blown up pretty bad. I point out some 3550/TKO specifics and I discuss the differences between one of these and a T5 transmission. There are plenty of other TKO rebuild videos on YouTube so instead of a play-by-play, I just touch on some highlights and discuss what else is happening in the garage.
