Finally the wait is over!
December 2024 witnessed Priyanka Gandhi's debut session in the parliament. She had made her first appearance at an election rally 25 years before while campaigning for her mother Sonia Gandhi. Her elder brother Rahul has already been in the parliament since 20 years, but finally Priyanka ended all speculations and decades long wait to fight byelections from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat, which she won by a margin of over 4 lakhs.
Her speech, which was made during debate on 75 years of adoption of Indian Constitution, garnered the biggest attention during the winter session of the parliament in December 2024.
