When I started with Chris, I was at capacity. So I was doing a lot of one-to-one consulting—very high-end—and was super booked, making a ton of money, but just didn’t have a calendar. And so it was really hard for me to buy into the idea that my clients would get more value in a group setting than a one-to-one setting. That was my first mental hurdle, which really restricted my ability to sell correctly. Because as I was selling, I was saying what was on the screen or what the bullet points were and doing the positioning—but I didn’t believe it. “After talking to people like Chris, talking to people like Devin to get validation—to see that they have such a breadth view of what everyone’s doing in the coaching world—and saying, “Hey, we need a soundboard.
