Mangga Besar in Jakarta Indonesia is well-known for having quality durian every night from all over this country. So, tonight is stopped at one and ordered a durian.
The shop I chose was called Horus durian. They had Medan durians from various parts of Indonesia, such as Kalimantan and Sumatra, and even Mongthong Durians.
I settled on a Medan durian with a beautiful color for 75,000 Rupiah. I ate almost the whole durian, when I came upon a bad piece. They immediately opened another one for me free of charge.
You gotta love traveling and eating in this city.
