Data from four research projects covering six countries in the Global South has been used to investigate how and why teachers respond to accountability. Findings are being used to enhance teacher professional development, help national governments to evaluate schools more effectively and ultimately to enhance student learning.
This project was supported by @theesrc and @ukforeignoffice through the Raising Learning Outcomes in Education Systems (RLO) research programme.
