2WD electric off-road racing completely changed with the debut of the original Team Losi Racing™ 22™ buggy. The 22 represented a radical departure from anything we had seen or known from the genre and blazed a new path. It optimized and truly maximized concepts such as big-bore shocks, an aluminum chassis, rear and mid-motor configurations, shorty LiPo battery packs and more. The 22 buggy, with Dustin Evans behind the wheel, went on to win the 2010 Spektrum Electric Indoor Championships, the first race it was entered in. A few weeks later Dustin and his 22 won the prestigious Reedy International Race of Champions. But they weren't done yet, as this powerful duo also captured the 2011 ROAR 2WD Modified National Championship.

Fast-forward to the summer of 2013 and the engineering crew and drivers associated with Team Losi Racing went out to improve upon the original 22 buggy with the 22™ 2.0 2WD buggy. This updated version features a number of different refinements and improvements to make the car easier to drive, more predictable and faster than ever before. Since the 22 was such a potent platform to begin with, this was no-easy task; however, the 22 2.0 appears to be more-than-capable of carrying on the legacy of its namesake.

Team Losi Racing product developer Frank Root and factory team driver Dustin Evans joins us in an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the latest TLR® 2WD buggy.
