4 year old Maleah Davis was last seen alive in late April and her remains were found weeks later in a black garbage bag off an Arkansas roadside12. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences ruled her death a homicide but did not disclose it until getting their suspect.
Derion Vence pleaded guilty to tampering with a corpse and injury to a child. He was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
