Montreal GPF1 in F1600 - June 16-18 2023

Описание: Final race of the weekend after not finishing any previous session due to car problems and failures, coming from the back of the field to finishing third in class is a decent way to finish the weekend. The car is a 1998 Van Diemen with a Ford Kent engine. In practice halfway through the session my brakes were gone and my throttle was getting stuck so I only managed half a session, qualifying was canceled due to the CCTV cameras not working. Race 1 going into corner 8, my throttle jammed and I hit the wall causing minor left side suspension damage. Race 2 I failed to start the race as the ground wire to the oil pump got disconnected and it was unable to be fixed and finally Race 3 I started from the back of the pack and fought my way to finish third in the Pro-Am class. Big thanks to my mechanics Frank and Jimmy for fixing the car after the crash and helping me with the weekend and my parents for being with me every step of the way.
