PS5 SSD Speed Test - Best Available SSDs for PS5 SN850 Auros 7000s Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 980 Pro

Описание: Can we really notice the difference between the different available SSDs for the PS5? Let's find out by performing a few PS5 SSD Speed tests. I really love doing videos like this as they are fun for me to edit and really cool to perform the tests.
Noticeably absent is the Firecuda 530 which is faster than these drives. In real world usage, you might not notice much of a difference but the rewrite and endurance rating on it is much better than the drives here. Personally I'm okay with paying a little less and happy with the other options that are more widely available. Another note about the tests - Most of the tests were so close that they were within any variance you might expect by running the test again. The one common theme that I found when rerunning them was that the WD SN850 seemed to be first or second in all of the reruns. Also, the Samsung 850 Pro hit 6750 for me on the read speed test when I ran it again recently.
Quick note about the Samsung firmware - I heard that people with the 1TB version can’t get over 5500 even with latest firmware. Can’t say why that is but seems to only be with the 1tb version. Also if you bought it a while back and need to update the firmware, you have to install it in your PC motherboard or laptop when using Samsung Magician to update it. Unfortunately, you can't use a USB enclosure to do it as Magician won't recognize the drive. The 500gb seems to work for everyone in getting the higher speeds. Not sure what the deal is with the 1TB. Last I checked I was able to get over 6k but I’ll revisit this.
