We check for accuracy and failures or malfunctions using different types of ammunition in this .223 AK Rifle variant. Due to its standard receiver size and thickness, as well as stock and handguards size, most aftermarket parts, which fit 7.62x39 rifles, will fit this slr106fr as well!

This is a nice rifle to have in the collection as it will eat any type of .223 or 5.56 ammo you feed it, even super cheap steel cased surplus ammo. My S&W M&P15T had issues with steel cased ammo, and from experience, have found AR's typically don't like anything but expensive brass cased ammo. This AK rifle in .223/5.56 will eat any type of ammo, all day long, without malfunction - which makes it an excellent choice for living in the US where the ammo is made locally.
