Experience WAVE: A Muskoka Cottage Concept Like No Other

Finding a place of serenity, blocking the relentless urban clamour, and getting back to a space of tranquil living and slowing the pace.

A physical, fluid form that blends into any environment it finds itself. Releasing to its surroundings rather than imposing and being totally one with nature.

These ideas and feelings inspired us to create WAVE on the shores of Leonard Lake in Muskoka. The 3 story structure does not have a large footprint, yet it blends with the higher elevation and gives tremendous viewing opportunities to those who inhabit. Using natural materials such as glass, stone, steel and concrete, we have created a structure that reflects nature and does not impose itself upon it. Wooden, flowing accent walls are immediately visible when approaching the structure and causes the person to feel in flow and at peace.

The projects that are designed within our boutique firm reflect our dedication and passion for developing luxury primary residences & vacation residences locally, as well as abroad.

By founding the firm in a location of such unsurpassed natural beauty as Muskoka, FDA is constantly being inspired and reminded to integrate the structures they design within their natural surroundings.
