Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Tampa, FL, comments the potential advantages of intrathecal administration of dendritic cells to overcome the problem of sanctuary sites and effectively target leptomeningeal disease from breast cancer. Promising results have been reported in mice, where the treatment has been shown to cure mice and provide long-term protection against tumor cell growth. This interview took place at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) 2025 Meeting in San Antonio, TX.
