Long before the invention of Dancerush, one of the "freestyle dance games" that were racking up millions of views was: Dance Evolution. Within this game also came the (arguably) most popular song of dance game world: Din Don Dan.....what a cute name 😊 and super cute song 😊

Yep, unlike in other "arrow-based" dance games, Din Don Dan isn't famous for its difficulty, but rather its super-catchy cute tune and also thanks to a number of amazing players back then who mastered the choreography. Unfortunately, Dance Evolution is officially over. However, some time after Dancerush, its spiritual successor DANCE aROUND came along, and so I thought it would be an interesting concept to match two gameplays of this beloved hit on two different games!

DANCE aROUND's Master chart (or choreo) unsurprisingly is exactly the same as Dance Evolution's. On the other hand, Dancerush's Normal chart is unexpectedly hard for a level 8. The chart is so full of tricky patterns that I'd say it's harder than some level 9!

Though I wasn't at 100%, my shoes were grippy and obviously DANCE aROUND isn't my main thing so I'm struggling a little with the choreo (I know so many excuses blah blah 😅) I hope you enjoy this comparison of the two most recent dance games!
