Vladimir Fedorin is an independent journalist. He was previously founding editor-in-chief at Forbes Ukraine from 2011 to 2013, and previously worked at Moscow-based business newspaper Vedomosti.He writes for InLiberty.ru.
He is founding editor of Forbes Ukraine with more than 10 years experience in business media.Fedorin has worked at Smart Money, Forbes Russia, and contributes to almost all quality titles in Russia — Esquire, RBC, The New Times, and Slon.ru.He is author of the book «Road to Freedom. Dialogues with Kakha Bendukidze» (to be published in Russian and Ukrainian languages in spring 2015).He graduated from Moscow State University and currently lives in Kiev.
Viacheslav (Slava) Dvornikov is a local coordinator for Students for Liberty in Ukraine.
He is also the editor and founder of the online journal r-e-e-d.com, which covers economics and politics in post-Soviet countries.
He also used to work for Slon.ru, Moscow-based online business newspaper, and in a bank in Saint-Petersburg as a consultant.
Slava was an intern at the Atlas Economic Research Foundation and Cato Institute and currently lives in Kiev.
Vera Kichanova was born on May 24, 1991 in Moscow.
She graduated from the Department of Journalism of the Moscow State University in 2013. She worked for “Novaya Gazeta” and was elected a member of the “Novaya Gazeta” Network Parliament, one of a number of virtual “proto-parliaments” in Russia. Later she worked for the “Voice of America” Russian Bureau.From 2011 to 2012, she worked with the “Soldiers’ Mothers” human rights organization as a social media activist and coordinator of civil campaigns.In spring 2011, she launched a campaign entitled “Girls Against Draft”.In October 2011, she was the brain behind a students’ protest action in Moscow State University against President Dmitry Medvedev, who had announced a meeting with MSU students, which turned out to be shamelessly staged as real students had been removed from the university building and the premises filled with ‘shills’ when the President arrived. Several students, including Kichanova, were detained by the police.In March 2012, Vera Kichanova was elected as a municipal deputy in Moscow’s Yuzhnoye Tushino district.As a member of the municipal council she fights for more transparency on the part of the local authorities.Vera won the 2013 Democracy Award.
Tom G. Palmer is the executive vice president for international programs at the Atlas Network, and is responsible for establishing operating programs in 14 languages and managing programs for a worldwide network of think tanks.He is also a senior fellow at Cato Institute and director of Cato University.
