Footage from the Combat Box server. I'm on my way home after a really successful sortie flying solo in the Fw 190D "Dora". I have 4 victories and I'm low on fuel and ammo. I see a P-38 approaching from the rear with an energy advantage. What follows next is a lengthy engagement where the P-38 and I jockey for position, and he attempts to use BnZ or Boom and Zoom tactics. This video explores ways to defend against Boom and Zoom and demonstrates one particular option that's suited for aircraft with a roll rate advantage (for example, Fw 190 against a P-38, or La-5 against a Bf 109).
